KONTRA, an interior architecture firm based in Istanbul, has designed the interior of a 1300sqm office space for a youth agency, in an old building, at the trade centre of city.

The entrance’s walls have gray rusty metal plate cladding in an austere corporate style, overlaid by texts describing the company’s philosophy. Inside the mood changes. A colourful industrial environment communicates the creativity and youthfulness of the firm. The office spaces are designed with an open plan philosophy in mind, with colourful old style lockers and container-like metal cladding on the walls. Bright graphics imitating construction site signage with pop aesthetics imagery highlight the vibrancy of Youth Republic.
