A girl, drifting through the city, looks right at the viewer’s eyes with a twisted innocence revealing fragments of her fantasy world. In the wilderness of the northern forest she becomes a warrior harnessing the power of the predominantly masculine wildlife. The beautifully austere photography of Liselotte Fleur captures the ambiguity of the girl’s world, while Franzi Fiedler’s illustrations subtly expose fragments of the mysterious spiritual world of the native Americans.
