The Abu Dhabi Art Pavilion, by architect Shigeru Ban, is a structure inspired by the environment as well as the culture and heritage of the UAE.

The pavilion, commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Art festival, is made of cardboard tubes and houses the ‘Abu Dhabi Art Design Souq’, a cool and sheltered space where visitors to the event have the opportunity to meet and engage with local designers.
