The inspiration for this design was the outline of an icon.

‘This Shade table lamp is clearly related to my earlier design, the Bottle candle holder series.
My inspiration for this design was the outline of an icon.
This Shade table lamp is a stylized representation of the well known shade floor-lamp.
By bringing it back to its essence, it leads to a universal recognisable, but also a new shape.
The lamp is, besides the foot and the lamp-holder, flat.
By using a reflector bulb, the light is pleasant and cosy.

Made out of 4 mm thick, matte black powder-coated steel.
Black cord with switch.
Height 38 cm
