Nafir is a functional sculpture. It is dynamic, its fluid shape becoming the expression of the light itself.

Karim Rashid has designed a sculpturesque lamp that engages the attention even when the lights are off without forgetting functionality cleverly using LED technology. Nafir is part of a family of lamps whose shapes can be organically grouped to create a fantasy panorama comprised of light and shape. It is a tribute to the designer’s North African origins as Nafir is the name of a North African trumpet.
Acquired singly or in groups of three, Nafir presents the opportunity to create and customise an infinite number of compositions, suitable for residential or contract use. Three colour choices: chrome exterior/white interior, white exterior/gold interior and white exterior/white interior. The canopies are in the same material as the lamp, with identical colour and finish
