What kind of objects do we want to surround ourselves with? With whom do we feel most comfortable?
Cell phones , music players and other digital media products are part of our daily life and do what they should- store, receive, transmit and process information, be it sound, images or just numbers.
Lori Load takes us back to a simpler time, when products and toys lasted for decades not months. A simple monolithic form- as though sawed from a single piece of timber, its sturdy build a heavy metal body with a solid coat of paint will grow with you, even through changes of its payload.
The things that make us feel at ease, that make us smile, touch and repeatedly enjoy- these are things to embrace.
