A state-of-the-art lamp with an organic shape inspired by mysterious ocean life forms.

Algue.MGX is the second collaboration between manufacturer .MGX by Materialise and Belgian designer Xavier Lust. Presented at the Salone del Mobile, Milan 2011, it is characterised by the use of state-of-the-art technology, as it has a LED light source and it is produced by 3D stereolithography printing. Yet it retains a sense of craftsmanship as each piece is individually created and hand-finished.
