MORFAE

the shape of things: architecture, design, interior, art, style

17.05 2011

A rough, yet very fragile collection for open minded nomads willing to explore new horizons.

A.FRIEND

A.FRIEND by A.F.Vandervorst, the secondary and more affordable Autumn/winter 2011 line of Belgian designer duo An Vandevorst and Filip Arckx, was presented at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. An affordable line that does not compromising on quality.

Inspired by nomads and especially Bedouins, the collection focuses on comfortable, casual lines, hoods, jersey and knitwear with leather accessories. Asphalt gray, red, black and copper dominate a dark colour palette that reminds of the dirty gray and sepia world of Joseph Beuys, the mysterious nomad of conceptual art.
