An ultra stylish piggy bank alternative, perfect for the design addict parent.

MONEYPHANT

A piggybank doesn’t necessarily have to look like a pig. MONEYPHANT, a piggybank in the shape of an elephant, by Georg Jensen, is the answer for all design addicts who want a stylish piggybank for their children.

It all started in 1987, when Danish architect Jørgen Møller designed the elephant bottle opener with a little help from his grandson. The elephant’s profile was abstracted to an ultra stylish minimal silhouette. In 2010 the appealing elephant motif was extruded in order to shape a polished stainless steel moneybox, the MONEYPHANT. It is now released in four colours with a powder coated stainless steel finish, a girly rose, a boyish light blue, an off white for minimalist parents and a slick industrial black. The perfect way to teach children about saving and style.
