The warehouse is situated in the city of Asahikawa, Hokkaido. It has a double volume open plan ground floor for the cars and motor bikes of the owner and then two smaller levels accommodating minimum living areas.

The garage house’s concrete shell carries horizontal slices allowing light through and at the same time revealing its dual role. Within this space the role of people and objects coexist or are interchanged. The structure is a mixture of 50cm thick concrete walls and wooden beams.
