Artist and designer Stuart Haygarth worked with leading framing company John Jones to create a dramatic, eye-catching and thought-provoking installation on the grand marble staircase leading to the Architecture Galleries of the V&A. Working with John Jones craftspeople, Haygarth constructed a cascade using discarded off cuts of pictures frames as well as bespoke frame mouldings, traditional and contemporary, spanning in lengths of almost 20 metres each over the staircase, bringing a significant piece of the Museum’s architecture to life.
