STEM RAY lamp is the first collaboration work between Studio Conran and Yamagiwa. The steady zinc base allows the flexible movement of the slender stem and the users can enjoy his/her personalised direction of the light.

For the table lamp, with 6-hour charge, STEM RAY becomes a portable lamp for 1.5-hour. The blue indicator is on during charging and off when the charging is completed. The sculptural tripod base is inspired by the form of concrete sea defences. The high efficiency energy saving LED is selected in avoid of unnecessary heat and glare. The lens version distributes more concentrated illumination in the designated spot. Suited for bedside, desk and a variety of occasions.

The floor lamp has a dark grey coloured support ring around the tripod base to reinforce the stability. Slender and modern design floor lamp ideal to be placed by the sofa in the living room for reading.

Both STEM RAY table lamps and floor lamp are now available throughout the world.

STEM RAY table lamp has received the reddot design award 2010
