The fourth day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York was characterised by the presence of three iconic designers, whose influence spreads around the globe, Donna Karan, with her DKNY collection, Tommy Hilfiger and Diane Von Furstenberg.
The DKNY collection, luxurious yet comfortable, practical and still desirable, is designed for multi cultural modern people living in the pace of the city. A simple wardrobe made of a few basic interchangeable items that form a total look from head to toe and define a total life style.
The all American classics are modernized by Tommy Hilfiger and become an international style.
Diane von Furstenberg redefines glamorous elegance by the use of patterns with bright colours and contrasts or instances of expressive draping.
Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas also presented the new Y-3 collection at the Park Avenue Armory.
