The US fashion scene dominated the second day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York deploying a variety of proposals for the spring / summer 2011, ranging from austere classicism to expressionistic explosions of colour.
New York based Andrew Buckler, a designer dedicated to men’s wardrobe, presented a happy casual street collection with attitude. Nicole Miller remains faithful to her design philosophy presenting a collection with modern, yet timeless, aesthetics and intriguing surprises in the detail. New York based Michael Angel presented the collection of his newly founded women’s ready to wear luxury brand, with artistic influences, colours, prints and contrasts
