Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York is back with glam, celebrities, media and industry opinion leaders. Being one of the biggest fashion events of the world, along with Milan and Paris, the fashion week presents the spring / summer collections of over 90 of the world’s most established and up-and-coming designers.
This season, Carolina Herrera, known for her sophisticated and elegant style, receives the distinguished title of “Mercedes-Benz Presents” designer for her spring/summer 2011 collection presented on September 13.
The first day of the fashion week included, among others, New York based design company Nicholas K, New York native Richard Chai, and the ‘concept Korea’ special on the Korean designers Kwak Hyun Joo, Ju Young Lee and Lee Jean Youn.
