The site is located in an exclusive residential area on slanted ground with an eight metre height difference. Two mounds are made on this slope reinventing the topography for the house. The house is placed inside the mountain with a floor floating on top of the mounds. The design room of Dragon Beard, the maker of a Japanese sneaker brand, is inside it. The lower reinforced concrete living space is surrounded on three sides by the soil from the slope creating a cave like experience. The upper steel floor opens up to the sky with a curved opening resembling a flying dragon. To achieve this floating feel of the deck, the architects revaluated the trusses and concealed the structural members in the curves. From the deck the sea and a range of mountains 60 kilometers away can be observed.
