FAZ is an outdoor modular furniture collection and flowerpots designed by Ramón Esteve for the Spanish company VONDOM.
Ramón Esteve, an architect of harmony, serenity, timelessness and universality, has created mineral and expressive shapes that make FAZ a design perceived as Art – an installation for the home.
VONDOM’s exclusive material quality permits exterior use even in the most extreme environments.
The modularity of FAZ permits the consumers to adapt the furniture and flowerpots to their style and needs without losing the harmony of this furniture set.
FAZ is composed by a sun-lounge with an auxiliary table, armchair, modular sofa and coffee table. Three flowerpots of different proportions form a unit that completes the collection. The collection is available with excellent quality nautical or polyester cushion.
The result is a work that transmits the essence and contains the complexity and density of a resolved work down to the extreme detail, whose end result is the creation of places where one desires to live.

RAMON ESTEVE
Valencia, Spain (*1964)

Continuity, essentiality and purity are perceived in the architect’s projects. From his studio in Valencia, he carries out very diverse projects: public, educational and cultural buildings, offices as well as sanitary products. The search of the relation between container and content is carried through in many of his projects down to furniture.
Many of these pieces are produced and developed, along with others, independently by brands as Vondom, Gandía Blasco, Joquer, Upoh, Dynamobel, Vibia and Andreu World.
Recently Ramon Esteve has collaborated with Nh Hotels and has developed for Nh the Nhube concept, along with Ferran Adriá, a consultant of exterior spaces.
Since 2005 he has been teaching at the Architecture department of the Architecture School of Valencia. He is also a guest lecturer and collaborator of architecture & design workshops.

In 2005 he received the First Award “ex aequo of the Architects School of the Valencian Community 2003-04, offered by the Príncipe Felipe Investigation Center.” Recently he has received the Gold of ADCV Award 2009 in the category of “Domestic Equipment” for the sofa ADN, and was also rewarded in the contest for the project of Library Sant Josep in Ontinyent.
