Aguri Sagimori is expressing a dream of beauty seen inside a moment. Delicate fabrics like satin and tulle are met with leather tape to create a one-piece with a restraining silhouette. Minimal jackets and gilets are collarless with hidden buttons. Uneven outwear such as fur, knits, and voluminous cardigans are paired with micro-miniskirts.

Leather butterflies and feathers laminated with film are each crafted by hand into an original collage.
Trench coats and one-pieces of wool and original jacquard lace follow jackets and coats of fine high grade wool and lustrous gabardine.
Leather frills and belts accent gilets and blouses of voluminous fox and Tibetan ram.
This season is defined by three-dimensional, uneven expression visible in coarse handmade knits, bonding with leather, and boar leather accents.

Profile:

Aguri Sagimori was born in Neyagawa City, Osaka in 1985. She graduated from the Vantan Design Institute of Fashion in 2007. During that year, she was awarded the New Designer Fashion Grand Prix Prize for Excellence and the Nagoya Fashion Contest 2007 Grand Prix. In March 2008, she debuted in JFW with her 08-09 A/W collection. In August 2009, she presented her 09-10 A/W collection at TIS (Taipei In Style). In October 2009 and March 2010, she participated in the Vantan Tokyo joint exhibition in Paris.
AGURI Co., Ltd. was established in March 2010.
