The walls were painted in a light colour to reflect as much light as possible coming from the exterior. The house has beautiful courtyards with deciduous trees that allow the entrance of sunlight in the winter and the preservation of shade in summer.
Public interior spaces had the opaque doors replaced with translucent doors allowing light and colour from the backyard to the interior.
The finishing of the carpentry, smithy and doors is in black matt and glossy stainless steel, adding a simpler, neutral and crisp atmosphere to the interiors.
The bathroom’s black shinny furniture as well as a white ceramic washbasin is placed against a tile wall of the same colour palette so that the glossy stainless steel accessories under the horizontal mirror are emphasised.
The design of the furniture plays an important role to the intervention of the spaces. A white music shelve in the living room brings out the colours of the collection of cd’s boxes of the new owners; a cantilevered from the wall red bar in the hall with or handles, generates an additional volume.
